2017 Concert Classical Guitar, African Blackwood / European Spruce
Open, lush sound with creamy, sparkling trebles and lots of power. This is one of my favorite tonewood combinations, and it’s well represented in this instrument. 650mm string length, bass-side sound port with cover, position marker at 7th fret. $7,000 USD.
2017 Concert Classical Guitar, Camatillo Rosewood and Western Red Cedar
Powerful, focused tone with excellent clarity and sweetness. Camatillo rosewood is in the same genus as other true rosewoods, and provides a singing, clear tone much like Brazilian. Camatillo is normally a small tree, so sets suitable for guitar making are difficult to source. This set is particularly elegant, with quarter-sawn, figured grain and a dramatic sapwood streak at the centerline. 650mm string length, bass-side sound port with cover, 20th fret at 1st string, position marker at 7th fret. $7,000 USD.
2008 Seven String Viol after Romain Cheron, Paris, ca. 1695
This is a highly decorated instrument with double purfled C holes and fleur-des-lis inlay at front and back corners. Pearwood fingerboard veneer bound with African ebony. Rich and responsive, with honey-like upper register and powerful lows. 69cm string length. $9,000 USD.

This guitar has a huge sound, with excellent projection, rich, powerful basses, and fast, articulate trebles. $7000 USD includes Humicase Protege case.
